What I’m Reading: Spring Edition

What I’m Reading: Spring Edition

I just want to note how happy I am to have started these monthly book reviews! Part of this blog was to dedicate time to get back into reading, and I am thrilled to say that I’ve done just that! Now that I have three book reviews on my blog, I am excited to share what I will be reading for the next few months.

For the month of March I’ll be reading The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. My grandmother got me this book for Christmas and I am looking forward to finally getting some time to sit down and discover this new world. Also, a couple of book bloggers told me that this was a great read, so I am really looking forward to see what it’s all about!

During the month of April I will be reading Welcome to the Desert of the Real by Slavoj Zizek. My husband is always nagging me to read some of his books, so I decided that it was about time I finally did. This short book (under 200 pages!) includes five essays discussing September 11th from some of Europe’s most provocative philosophers.

Lastly, to wrap up the spring season I’ll be reading The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie By Alan Bradley for May. I started this book several months ago, however at the time I was struggling to keep focus on it and somehow I never finished it. It’ll be good to re-read those first few chapters and finish it up.

What is on your reading list for the next couple of months? Let me know in the comments below!

Cheers & stay chic!
