Valentine’s Day Looks

Valentine’s Day Looks

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! I’ve complied outfit ideas from what to wear to work to a fancy date, for anyone who likes to celebrate the holiday in style.

Date Night:

A Maroon Midi

First up, a charming off the shoulder fit and flair dress in maroon. The subtle scalloped collar is absolutely darling. You can shop it by clicking here.

Sleeves and Pleats

This next one is a bit more of a show-stopper. I am a HUGE fan of bright red, as for me it is my power color. I love how this dress is a bit more modest, but doesn’t lose any of it WOW factor. I love the wrap top, pleats, and the lace hemline. You can shop it by clicking here.

Classic in Red

This dress reminds me of what I am considering wearing this Valentine’s Day, actually. This one should definitely be saved for more fancy occasions, but I absolutely adore how classy and simple it is. You can shop this one by clicking here.

Flowy Chiffon

This one is an absolutely dream. The dusty pink color is oh so lovely, not to mention the layers of chiffon. This dress is the epitome of romantic. I love the plunge neckline, the uneven hem, and the flowy nature of this dress. You can shop it by clicking here.

Red Jumpsuit

Next up is NOT A DRESS! Y’all know I have been loving jumpsuits lately, and I thought what better way to celebrate the holiday than in a cute red jumpsuit. I think it is absolutely adorable and I love the ruffle detailing and the sash. You can shop it by clicking here.

Pale Pleats

Another pleated number, but this one is a bit more soft and romantic. You don’t have to wear bright red to get in the Valentine’s Day spirit, pinks, especially pale pinks are very lovely. What I like most is the high neck on this dress. You can shop this dress by clicking here.

Mauve Maxi Dress

Last, but certainly not least is this mauve maxi dress. I am a huge fan of floor length skirts and dresses, which is why I love this one so much. It is such a simple design, but the color and how the flattering elements of the dress really make it quite nice. You can shop it by clicking here.

Wear to Work:

Bold Red Blazer

I have added several blazers to this list, but first up is a classic red blazer. I love the bright color, but mostly I love how the structure of this one gives a more relaxed vibe, while still being chic. You can shop it by clicking here.

Blazer Dress

Next up is a bright red double breasted blazer mini dress. This one is a showstopper, in my opinion. I have been loving blazer dresses for a few months now. I can’t think of a better power outfit for the office, than this. You can shop it by clicking here.

Maroon Jumpsuit

I have been love, love, loving jumpsuits so I wanted to showcase a few ways to wear them both for date night (above) and to the office. I really like the coloring of this particular jumpsuit and the style reminds me a bit of the black one I currently wear to the office all the time. You can shop this one by clicking here.

Detailed Red Blouse

You can’t go wrong with a good work blouse, especially when it holds lots of details to really make an impact. I love the sleeves and the small buttons. I think this would look so lovely with a pair of skinny black pants and oxfords. You can shop the blouse by clicking here.

Asymmetrical in Pale Pink

So moving away a bit from all the bright reds (even though they are my favorite) I really like this pale pink dress as an option. It is so lovely, professional, and a bit more unique. You can shop it by clicking here.

Velvet Pink Blazer

I LOVE this blazer! Last year I picked up a maroon velvet blazer and wore it on Valentine’s Day, I saw this one in this shade of pink and fell absolutely in love. This color is so rare, which makes it super fun. I love when designers will take more spring or summer colors, but make them wearable in the winter months, like how they have done with velvet. You can shop this blazer by clicking here.

Red Pants

I couldn’t leave a pair of red trousers off my list. I love colored pants a lot, especially when they are high waisted with a nice cut. You can shop these by clicking here.

Pink Blazer

Last, but most certainly not least is this absolutely stunning pink double breasted blazer from the amazing Halogen X Atlanic-Pacific line at Nordstrom. I am absolutely obsessed with Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific blog, so I had to throw one of her pieces on the list. This blazer is fun, flirty, and can be paired with so many different items in your closet for work. You can shop it by clicking here.

Little Touches

Don’t want to shop? No problem. Here’s a couple cute RED and PINK ideas to create a Valentine’s Day look for free or under $10.

– Lipstick (my personal favorite is red)
– Tie a bow in your hair (a velvet maroon or red ribbon would be my choice)
– Paint your nails (my personal favorite is red, again)
– Statement accessory— from a pair of shoes, a handbag, scarf, or some other accessory– you name it!

I hope that everyone has a lovely Valentine’s Day, no matter what you are doing or whom you are celebrating with.

Cheers & stay chic!
